Teale Design is the maker. I have the slim version instead of the full size that PIOT has in the picture. TD has lots of designs, from mild to wild. I purchased mine after seeing PIOT's in various pictures. HTH.

The Astute really reminds me of a Canadian pattern hunting knife, like the Grohmann.
