I don’t think stainless would have a serious balance issue. balance is kind of personal preference. I don’t see how maybe a couple ounce heavier handle than blade in a straight will hinder the performance in use.
The handle sticks out quite a bit on a razor. Having a chunk of steel waving around doesn't seem like it'd feel good. Maybe anodised aluminum could work though.

Yeah I'm a big fan of the multi-coloured G10. I'd prefer something a bit more vibrant than black and grey though. Maybe black and dark red?
The straight razor has to have a certain balance and that separates good ones from poorly designed ones, often. Many have a weight in the end as a spacer, sometimes of lead. Many don't, also.
I am not an expert. I am still learning. I have learned something, though. Balance is important when using a raw blade on naked skin.

I understand your point doc, at first I was speaking more aesthetically for the design than functionally, as I’m very uninformed on straights overall. If balance is truly a prominent important feature, I wouldn’t be opposed to frn over g10.
Current “dream collection” of knives
temperance 1, lil temperance 1 serrated leaf, black micarta calypso jr & calypso, cocobolo kopa, stainless serrated harpy, stainless cricket
There are also straight razors with a fixed handle - not foldable.
The handle is more for storage and maybe improving the grip a bit.
And often used for increasing the price because of more fancy material. But the does not improve the performance.
Similar with brush handles.

I would expect FRN to only be viable for high volume parts because having injection moulds made is expensive. Something like carbon fibre might be best if G10 threw off the balance.

a fixed blade would be nice as long as there was a way to store it with the blade protected. I haven't seen many examples of that in the wild, so I'm not sure what they tend to look like.
I don't see many G10 scales. I see Micarta, cow horn, buffalo horn, paua shell, abalone shell, acrylic (clear and solid colors), ivory, bone, carbon fiber, ebony wood, black wood, king wood, and other woods, with regularity. I'm sure G10 is out there, but not common. FRN would be far and away too expensive to do, unless Spyderco sold a boat load of these razors. Straight razor buyers must prefer horn, carbon fiber, acrylic, and wood, as these are common offerings.

That is a Feather Artist Club shavette, is it not? These use replaceable blades. Quite nice, from what I understand.

That is what people call a Kamisori, but it does come in a traditional Western style with folding handle. I've never used one. I have only used a regular straight razor. I have had barbers use them on me and they felt more harsh than the gentle stroke of a well sharpened straight razor. They still provide a good, close shave.

Theres a wood called osage orange. Grows naturally in the us. Beautiful grain, bright purple heart wood, with bright orange wood around it. Has natural water repelling oils. Fence posts made from it last 80 years without rotting in wet soil. Nice dense wood, and very pretty on knife handles.

I would go for a horse apple (as we call it here) handled razor.
