I used my Spyderco Military to scratch out the magnetic strip of my Mastercard.
Due to security reasons, I did not take photos :D

I cooked some beef. Actually, soaked it in apple juice overnight with Cinnamon and Cloves and then fried it.

I cooked the beef too long.

Anyway, that was for breakfast this morning.

I used mine today as I do everyday that I work out in the farm. The fully serrated endura is my "go to knife" for outdoor work. The serrations slash through bailing rope and anything else needing cutting, then when I get home with my clothes and knife drenched in sweat, I simply rinse it out with warm water, shake it dry and then oil it a little. Its a tough little knife.
ETA: All of the members of my family have a "fully serrated" Endura except for the baby (and the boys generally carry theirs for sweaty outdoor work as well), and I just ordered 2 more as spares from Amazon, with the "spyder edge" blade in the description, which I hope means fully serrated as the description said it was fully serrated, but the picture was one with a PE blade.

I am one of the 0.45%.

It sure was Chuck. Posted on 3 August. I was truly amazed. First Spydie I ever received this fast. It was a splendid ending for an awful day.chuck_roxas45 wrote:Woot! That was fast KS. :D

Went out with my wife to a local restaurant. As per the typical "cutlery" at such a place, the "steak knife" was more akin to a butter knife. After I tore a couple pieces of filet with the previously mentioned abomination, I discreetly (rather than a flashy "Spyder-drop" which is poor technique anyway but alas) opened my Military, set it on the table beside my plate and used it as my steak knife. I understand the entree is named "Smashed steak", but I don't believe the knife that came along with it should literally destroy the meat.

This morning cut irrigation pipe with an SE Delica 3 .... the teeth just glide through HDPE ....

This evening the USN Catcherman cut up a snack. Earlier I'd used it to trim the salmon as well. It doesn't work quite as well as my sashimi knife but it was more fun.

I love when my wife & I sit down over Saturday morning breakfast & decide what we are going to Make for the week and create our grocery list. Today my eyes lit up as I knew this would be my afternoon activity. Made one of our favorite healthy snacks and I was able to give one of my favorite mules a workout.

Hot & Spicy

P.S. After some serious kitchen cutting board use over the last 3 months, the M390's tip was no longer hair popping sharp. I stropped it about a half dozen times on each side and it is back to scary. This stuff is great!

My son and I helped a friend work his concession stand at the Jazz Festival today. I was carrying my Manix2 and my son had his Dragonfly. Tons of packaging and breaking down cardboard.
One of the other guys asked if my son could go find scissors because he wanted to cut some lightweight cardboard to make signs with. I pulled out the Manix and he said "Don't use your knife! I need them fast so we really need scissors." I picked up a piece of the cardboard and made four quick slices with ease to show him and he was amazed! He said, "I never knew a knife could cut like that!" My son and I were done with the signs in less than five minutes.
My buddy came over and told the other guy that he needs to get "one of those sharp knives" and then pulled the Cat I gifted him out of his pocket.
It was cool seeing someone become a believer right in front of you. I think Spyderco has another customer. :D
