Korbiaka - beautiful job on your Sages. May I ask how you achieved the antique finish and the blue finish? Thank you for posting the pics.

Hi, just completed this as a gift for my dad's retirement. Took off the original carbon fibre scales and added mammoth tooth.

Got to say, that is a real stunner ... I was lost for words when I first saw it on BritishBlades but the mammoth tooth scales look so natural that for a moment I forgot what the original looked like :)
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

The mammoth scales transforms then entire knife into a work of art. This is one of the most beautiful mods I've seen. Congratulations on a job well done and wish your father a wonderful retirement.

I remade the "little guy" out of another PE Tasman Salt, heat-colored the clip, and sanded and polished it. Also, I sharpened the hole of the UKPK (beadblasting makes it way too smooth and hard to open for my liking) and Dremeled out and sanded a ramp for the hole. It openes right quick and easy now....

Thanks for looking.

I just realized I didn't get a pic of the clip, so it's coming.

... and here's the clip - I put it on my electric stove burner for a bit, then grabbed it with pliers and cooled - simple. I sanded it so it looked worn, and repolished...

Sheesh Jazz, that is borderline abuse! Why not use a cheaper material like titanium?
