This one has tempted me more than any other Spyderco over the past couple months. Still available too!

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Same. What a great price! Although I love k390 so much id probably just spent the extra dough and get that version. Delica Wharnies look sooo good!

I always admired the OG blue Yojimbos, so I tried to make my own. Love the look, but it's definitely a lot more visible in the pocket. Not sure if they're going to stay on there. What do you guys think?

I like blue, but admittedly on an EDC knife I prefer a more muted color. I like a little grayish tint to the blue. You could try a watered down black dye mix and take it out often and check to soften it a bit.
But as far as how it turned out. I do think it looks great.

Dying it is a good idea! Maybe I'll try to get it closer to a denim blue color.JSumm wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 12:01 pmI like blue, but admittedly on an EDC knife I prefer a more muted color. The smurf blue Yojimbo scales are amazing. Always have liked that color.

Thanks, Dan! This my "experimental" Pac Salt. It's my first Rit dye job, my first use of the Sharpmaker, my first attempt at crowning a blade, and my first attempt at polishing one. I knew that hand-held polishing with a Dremel doesn't work very well, but I wanted to try it anyway. I got it just short of a mirror finish, but it's not very smooth. Lots of waviness. Maybe someday I'll try doing it right. I really like the OG Pac Salts, by the way.
