Yeah I was having a hard time finding anything but black/satin, which was actually my last choice simply bc I have a few black/satin blades. But I love it, and I will be getting one of the digi cam models in the future for sure.

Are you going to try to prevent a patina, or slice some lemons (Or similar) to induce a patina?

Probably going to take it slow I actually just froglubed it tonight . I didn't heat it up though and then apply it like your suppose to for the initial treatment I just put on a thin coat and wiped it off .

Found these in my local gun shop cluttered in the back. Got a great deal on them, especially considering how old the Fold-a-Vee is. They also had a Lansky one as well but I left that for another time/another customer.

Such a sweet find on the Fold-A-Vee. I am jealous! The Lansky versions can still be found, but not everywhere.

That's a gem of a knife, Landon. Love the burl in the handle too, btw. :) Is it a slip-joint?

The handles are the most interesting part, they are Juniper and the tight grain structure as well as peppery arouma make a unique addition to the knife. It is a slip-joint Michael, with a seriously strong spring.
