Rex45 and Micarta are match made in heaven for me! Been putting this off for a while, as the Crucarta Shaman is iconic and also a sentimental knife to me. I just figured it was time to give my favorite steel, my favorite handles!

Image
Very nice!

Sorry to see the Cru-wear blade go, but I understand that the steel was run too soft to get the performance you need. Mine has also been underwhelming and has been considered for the chopping block for the same reason. I don’t have your cutting requirements, so I’ll keep mine for a while longer.
Have: old S30V Native, HAP40 Endura, ZDP DF2, S110V Manix LW, Cru-wear Para 3, SE H1 DF2, S90V Native 5, K390 Urban, SE Pac Salt, P.I.T.S., XHP Manix LW, SB Caly 3, B70P, PMA11, K03, Kapara, REX 45 Military, 154CM Manix LW, Swick, AEB-L Urban, KC Cruwear Manix, M390 PM2, Mantra 2, CruCarta Shaman, M390 Manix, K390 Police 4, S90V Manix LW, Rex 45 Manix LW, 20CV Manix, Rex 45 Lil’Native, Shaman, C208GP, Cruwear Manix, Cruwear Manix, M4 Chief, Z-max!!!

Want: SPY27, K490, Swick 5

We're all probably weird. I do like the scale color for shure! And, honestly, never met a DF2 I didn't like, lol. I actually like the K390 color but just can't make myself replace my BRG ZDP DF2, it's just so reliable. It was my first "super steel" which probably accounts for my attachment to it.

That color would look nice on one of my Mules. Hmm... Where to find?

I've come to think the handles are actually the most iconic part of the knife. There's a lot of Cruwear out there these days...but not these magnificent scales that Spyderco provided us right out of the box! I like all my micarta handled knives...this one is my favorite though, I love how worn in they look and that soft/smooth/grippy all in one feeling is THE BEST!

This would’ve been a decent shed but the squirrels found it before I did.

For over a week now. It has been a while since I carried the Military for more than a weekend. Kinda getting me excited for whichever ( K390 :preying) may come next.

Actually Patch only consumes dry food . Canned food is for my live trap to eradicate Raccoons, big ones go to a state trap range and smaller ones sometimes a buddy will take to make barbecue , but that’s another story . MG2
