I was just curious if any of you guys are actually EDCing the 3, 4, even 5+ knives or if its just implied that they're rotated?

well, i only carry one or maybe two on a day to day basis (i think this is probably also true for the majority of casual users) . the se cricket is always on me because it is just so easy to throw in the pocket in the morning and leave it there all day.

I currently carry 3 folders to work, and 5 folders when I'm at home/out (6 in my planned EDC).
Part of the reason is just because I can ( ;) ), but I do like to have the ability to grab a knife pretty much anywhere I put my hand; and I do have legitimate reasons for every knife that I carry.

Once I get my EDC completed, I'll post a picture (It's dependent on the Superhawk's release :D ).
Back from an extended hiatus.

Most of the time I have 3 which includes a jester. It really depends on what pants I am wearing as strange as that may sound.

I didn't think I was too bad with just 2 on my person (Salt I SE and Caly III PE), but if you count my backpack (E4 SE, Atlantic Salt PE), and my work keys (Dragonfly SE), I guess I EDC 5 knives.
LOL
But it doesn't seem weird.......to me.....

I usually carry 3 - one large PE (Military/Chinook/Endura/Para-Military), one smaller PE (Lava/Cricket/Mini Persian/Yojimbo) and my SE Tasman IWB. That way, I have all bases covered, no matter what needs cutting. :)
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

Maybe its just me...

But you guys have pics on here of "EDC" stuff...
But the knives are Pristine with factory edge and zero signs of use...
What is that? Even a knife that you don't use gets scratches and chips on it if you have it in your pocket for more than a hour.
Don't you guys use your stuff? Or is it for display so you can post it in the "show your EDC" thread?

My EDC stuff looks almost brand new and I use it every day. I'm just really good at taking care of things. Also, it involves a little planning...

Such as:

If a knife or cell phone is floating in a pocket, i won't put anything else in there . Otherwise it will get scratched.

^ That.

It's the trailing point version. On the leaf bladed less of the blade sinks below the edge of the handle.
