Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
White mountain knives is running a 15% deal this weekend. 15off is the code and you can use it on anything. Enjoy!
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
I remember back when someone would laugh at you for trying to sell one for that much.
That is a real good price in 2018 however. Great knife.
I'm thinking about picking up the blacked out Street Beat if anyone knows the best deals for that. Would like getting it under $100 shipped if I could.
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
I've got a tip for folks thatprefer buying knives in person.
A lot of shops are willing to price match other physical stores. Wal-Mart included.
This is how I picked up a blacked out Military for around 100$ less than what Cabelas was asking for, by getting them to price match Wal-Marts website price.

My only issue with that, is that most local stores only carry the vanilla models. You can find some color variations among Spyderco in the store, but a major part of what draws me in to purchase a Spyderco is the steel variety found with their sprint runs. I LOVE the idea of a black knife, and yet I only own one black Spyderco (and that one was given to me).
Thanks for the tip though, I know I’ve always wanted a blacked out Native after handling one at Cabelas. The smooth plastic gives it a solid feel, and had me confused since it was so lightweight. I saw the threaded pocket clip holes and was nearly convinced it was an all metal knife! I’d love to support them, but normally I can’t ignore the cost and convenience of shopping online. This could give me that chance.

Hey Vivi, I have ordered a few Spydies from an outfit called Knifemark Cutlery Company and they sent me a coupon code to give out.Vivi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 31, 2018 12:24 amI remember back when someone would laugh at you for trying to sell one for that much.

It's grv3n0wtdo. I have NO IDEA what kind of discount this might give or not, but it may be worth a shot. I HAVE used the code GETME10 successfully to get 10% off, but i don't know if it is still active. Their website isn't as polished as some, but their communication is top notch and they ship fast.

Arrrrrg. I kinda want ona those dog tags....
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
I understand your point but a more rational response would be to take advantage of the deals presented and then pass on anything that you felt was price gouging.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

100% disagree. Don't support a dealer that jacks up the price on every high demand model. If they can be successful doing it how long before other retailers follow suit? Frankly I would rather support a dealer that never has a discount code but doesn't screw its customers either.

I didn't happen to see it when they had that specific one in stock, but I haven't personally seen anything else listed above MAP. I also recently got a knife from them (not a spydie) that I ended up not loving. They paid for my return shipping and gave me a full refund, no questions asked. I'd say they actually have one of the best return policies among the online retailers. I'll keep giving them my business due to good experiences thus far.
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
WMK as I recall had them on their website briefly before listing as out of stock. They then sold them through their ebay store for $189.rivy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 6:07 amI didn't happen to see it when they had that specific one in stock, but I haven't personally seen anything else listed above MAP. They did the same thing with the REX Paramilitary 2.

WMK has amongst the best customer service I've experienced in knife dealers.
Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Campsaver is still running the 20% off. I went looking for a delica or endura in zdp, but a lot of the spyderco models have disappeared. I did however get sucked into the manix 2 burled S90V for just under $120
