I never seem to reach for mine on Mondays, but today I did.

Really eager to see the salts come out. Hoping they release in 2025! :bug-red-white

Mikey,

Cool Manix, don't think I have ever seen one with M390 steel before. That's awesome...

I always like when someone rarely posts this one. Was very close to being my first ever Spyderco. Opted for the DLC BD1 model instead.

I’m gong to reveal a secret . When the new lock came out on the Manix I was very upset . I absolutely loved the lock back and refused to try one . When I retired from the Giant Yellow Worm it was a retirement gift from a bunch of friends purchased through my best friend who was also a knife dealer . He told me it was the only way he figured that I would test one out . I threw it in my cabinet and since it was a gift could not think of selling it . Few months later working at a growing agricultural company I was was doing basically same job dealing with inventory and storage . One morning I looked at it and thought why not give it a try and found I was a big dummy ! It was perfect for my job and started a new Manix journey . My friend came over not long after carrying the Manix lwt and told him and he just smiled and said it won’t be your last . He was right ! Dan

Great story, Dan. Thanks for sharing.

So, if your friends hadn't given that gift, your forum username might have been BacklockManixGuy :grin-smiling-eyes

I agree. I love taking photos of this knife. The sun shining through it is cool. I wish we could get translucent reds, oranges, purples, etc. in exclusives or sprints.
