Ut oh, what trick were you doing to pull that off? I've never snapped one in that spot. Kinda funny, literally 22 minutes after you posted that pic...which I didn't see, because I was busy setting up my own complete board from CCS! I'm psyched!! Bummed that Quickies bearings aren't a thing anymore, I always loved their bearings.

Have you ever tried swiss bones? those are my favorite.
I was trying to nollie cab a hip, land in a manual then do a trick out of that. Felt like I had the landing but felt it snap before I could manaul down the hip. Had done it earlier in the day without any issues. It's a trick that runs a risk of this happening.

Oh you guys are just taking me back to the good old days. 1990 skateboarding and knives...
One of the last skateboards I owned was a G&S deck with Independent trucks and white wheels... loved that board.
40 Spyderco knives in 11 different steels,
1 Byrd and 30 “others”
It took me about 5 minutes and reading the follow up posts to find out what's "well dang" in the pic. And that it's actually not about the knife...
Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)
It got stiff competition from the Salt 2 ffg SE in that capacity lately, but the Chap is still a great iwb carry in light running shorts.
And, just like the Salt, a great performer since its blade is of a thickness/thinness that really makes sense in smaller folders.
