I use my non kitchen spydies in the kitchen constantly. I have used all my Mules in food prep duties as well as my Militarys, Calys, Delicas, Stretchs, and Manix2s, so I figured I might as well get a true Kitchen Spydie. To answer your question, yes I am enjoying the use so far. The Santoku has more belly than I am used to (which is a plus) but doesn't quite have the same pointy tip that my other Santokus have. I am planning to find a Yang (KX06P) next.

Lets talk more about whatever that is with the Dominator (?) carb on it :D

LOL, I don't drink anymore but that's something I'd buy just for the name alone. Since we're on the subject, I got the nickname Evil D when I was in high school. I had long hair for most of my youth and usually big bushy sideburns and wore a Danzig shirt a lot. It just sort of stuck :D

I too was curious about the background. It appears to be a LARGE cowl hood with a Dominator or similar peaking from under neath. DETAILS man!

If I had to guess, judging by how far that thing is sitting back to the firewall, I'd say that's a late model Camaro with an LT/LS engine in it. The engines in the '94+ cars sit half way under the firewall.

Upon closer inspection it looks more like a smaller cfm double pumper under at least a 4" cowl. You may be correct about that being so close to the back of the engine bay.
