Happy new year everyone!
Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
Great week of entries, thank you all for entering. I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and time with family and would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! As for the this "photo contest" its already shaping up to be quite another good year of pictures thanks to everyones submissions!
As for the winner of this weeks contest, and first photo contest of this year, I've chosen SpeedHoles shot of the Spydiechef at the beach! Not sure what the weather was like for the picture, but the setting makes for a good reminder of the warm weather. Great shot too!
Thanks again to everyone for entering, I've really have a lot of fun submitting photos for this contest (and judging when I get the honor), but it really wouldn't be possible without everyones participation. So thanks for keeping it going! :D Also, have to commend Johnnie1801 for starting the thread! The photo contest pioneer!!

And the runner up this week is demoncase with his shot of the worker in the woods. I really like the composition of this shot and the contrast of the stainless steel and the lush natural landscape. Great shot, that knife is about as classic as it gets! :DSpeedHoles wrote:Here's another from me.

For this week: Showing something significantly larger than actual size :)
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Thanks so much, Mushroom!
(For some reason I stopped receiving reply notifications to many threads on this forum...?? So I just randomly checked back in.)
By the way, the weather was actually a bit chilly in that pic, around 48-50deg F. at Baker Beach in San Fran.
Congrats to you as well, Demoncase!
Looks like some solid eye candy popping up here! Keep the photos coming! :)
