Hi Dodge

Love the Lums ! I just received a NIB black Lum thanks to a few helpful forumites. I would like to get a Ti Lum, though. Nice photo.

Spyderkey from a eBay auction that ended nearly three weeks back finally showed up. Seller described it as Walnut, but to the best of my knowledge there were never any Walnut SpyderKeys, at least not according to the list Joyce so kindly did up a while back. I figure it's Cocobolo, as the color is consistent with older Cocobolo that has seen some handling, and Cocobolo was on the list. Wood is quite dark, does look much better in person than in the picture.

For those who have no idea of the size of these, here's a comparison with some other smallish Spydies, the Mini-Mariner, Jester, and Kiwi

Wow, those Spyderkeys are smaller than I thought. I'd lose one of those in my key ring and never find it again.

Congratulations.

Yes they are. Thanks Brian.

Found a Care package from NGK in my mailbox a little earlier today, major Spydie fix! :D :D ZDP Calypso Jr, pair of R2s and a Polliwog...

Image

...plus a couple tie-dye t-shirts from a eBay win :D one of which, a "fireworks" pattern, seemed an appropriate background to celebrate the arrival of the knives.

Polliwog is a very different design, may take some getting use to, but shows potential. Am happy to say it has the first ball lock I can close easily. R2 is everything I hoped it would be, can't wait now to get my hands on an un-numbered one for EDC. Did a quick comparison of the ZDP Caly Jr and a "virgin" grey one in my collection. Both are so darn sharp that, if there is any difference it will take a more expert hand and eye than mine to determine it.

Kewl Rock! Mike was kind enough to let me pass on the ATR's. The Caly Jr could prove hazardous to my waistline, the color is sending subliminal messages that I should run out and get some Stewarts Black Raspberry Ice Cream. :D

the newest members of my :spyder: are the Harpy, Cricket, and I believe it's called a spydergrip, Spyderco's multi tool. The best part of it is that I got the last one for only $20 :D :D :D

Congrats Jonny, that was quite a bargain, the SpydeRench, when you can manage to find one, usually commands close to $100.

Just received my CF Police/SE and I'm in love(LOL) What a beautiful knife it is. It feels really solid despite of it's slimness. I'm curious to find out how the CF will hold up during EDC. My Military/SE will get a little rest for a while.

Hey Paul, I'm glad you (finally ;) )got your :spyder: -treats....I was starting to feel sorry for all the Collectors having to wait for their engraving...
This picture is intense....makes me want to break out my Santana or Hendrix Band of Gypsys cd's!
I think you should test your Gray vs. Burgundy Cally Jr. on some steak to assess the sharpness! :p
