I like it! Normally you see a PE Shaman with an SE companion.
I like it too! Since my preference for ffg SE began (not too long ago) that´s the direction I´d go too if I ever carried two folders:
- My "main" large knife should be in ffg SE (preferably in about Endura size)
- My second, small knife would be in PE (most likely the Chap FRN, or, if I carried a large blade anyway, maybe a DFly).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Lovely patina there Wart! There is just something about laminated blades with a heavy patina that gets me :D
Same here! :)

Thanks Michael! I've been lurking, but definitely posting less of late. Too much working from home I think. I think this thread is a good place to post more though!

Nice! (Both knives... and I am one of those who really likes how quickly H1 looks used... )

I definitely wouldn't like all my knives to look so scratched up, but the pac salt is just about the best beater knife ever, imo. It looks right like that.
That Bark River has kicked the Bow River off my belt the last two weekends. Not coincidentally, the Bow River is pretty scratched up, too. I'm curious to see how the "premium" 3v holds up to the 8cr in that regard.

Today, my family is out of town, and so it's project day. With loads of cardboard to breakdown. Perfect day for my beater SE. (That's gunk, not rust / corrosion.)
Also, for Wartstein, here's a recent Spyderco Mountain Photo. And thank you for providing links to your recent mountain shots! They were all great, especially the glaciated one.
You're welcome.
Yes, it is. I wanted a smallish fixed blade and got stainless because I figured if I didn't, carrying it in a belt sheath under an untucked shirt would lead to some serious rust lol.
If I had more $ I'd have gone for a salt version of the Spyderco enuff. They do make a salt version, right Sal?
