the only lock i have ever had fail was a framelock on a sanrenmu 710.

I am waiting to read the answers to whether:
1. The OP sent the knife in to Spyderco
2. If it has been sent in, the results of the analysis by Spyderco and Schempp
If it has not been sent in, then the whole debacle here is moot.

If I had a unicorn for every thread that was updated after resolution of a verified issue I would have approximately zero unicorns. :)

Without embedded pictures of unicorns I don't expect it to be a huge storage sink. If so I owe Spyderco money for my fluff posts.

Personally I LOVE spending ~$260 on a knife just to throw it in the trash because i'm too much of a tard to send it in to the maker to see what the problem was with it!
