Thanks for the contest! I see it's bringing out a lot of first time posters. Welcome to the forums everyone! It was painful narrowing down my ideas to one, but this is what I decided to go with. Whether or not this was a wise decision (made at 2am nonetheless) will remain to be seen. I'll post up some of my alternate ideas once the contest deadline passes. This was lots of fun and I'm excited to see which lines are chosen as the winners! Good luck to all of you!

could apply to knife sharpening, specific knives, etc, but also intended as a double meaning for our military service men and women - when they need to be sharp and alert, spyderco is there for them. i kind of picture a serviceman (or woman) using a spydie on deployment in action in an accompanying photo with the quote :) . cool contest, thanks for the opportunity -
