I have both PE and SE versions of this knife, and I was one of those begging for an SE version. I have to say… sometimes I prefer the PE.

In seriousness I bought the Chap slipjoint (PE only) and I barely use it - it’s such a different kettle of fish to the SE blade. The PE feels like a very nice small knife, whereas the SE could well have been made in partnership with Stihl or Husqvarna - it’s a mini chainsaw!
