This would have me open the wallet. I am doubtful it would happen.
It will, multiple forum users got the information directly from St Nick's employees.

Of course I'm in. I could do without the DLC, but it isn't a deal-breaker.

I'm definitely in. This would be the ultimate St Nick's exclusive for me. I love 4V and it would suit the Military perfectly. Could be my ultimate work knife.

I’m guessing it’ll be $225-$250.

I dislike the look of coated blades but like Vivi I have found DLC useful in preventing corrosion. It may not do anything by itself but it is great at holding oil. I use camellia oil and it lasts a surprisingly long time in the coating.

Gonna be the dissenting voice on this one... much as I like the idea of a Millie in 4V, I'll pass on a coated blade.

I will buy one of these and two if available. I would really love a new flavor of Military.

I went for only one on the Manix XL, but I'll be grabbing two of the Military for sure. I've been waiting on this one for a long time.

Oh son, you better not be playing with me. I HAVE to buy one just to support the cause. Same with everyone else, I love the military so this is epic!

Don’t even really care much about the 4v… just cuz it’s a new military, don’t care about much else. :releived

Probably not. Love the 4V, but would rather it be uncoated, and the red scales would require another $80-$100 of aftermarket scales.

I’ll be making do with just one of these. Better then none, though!

I'm surprised at how many people don't like DLC or red scales. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here drooling at the thought because I absolutely LOVE that color combo :party-face

Will depend on release date. The closer to the holidays we get, the less I'm willing to spend for myself. I would also like an uncoated option, but I do really like the black/red combo, I think Spyderco missed the opportunity to use this color combo as their own version of a dealer exclusive style color theme since it matches the Spyderco box. This could have been the perfect color combo for a line of Spy27 knives.

SNK Manix XL inbound but really I'm more excited about the prospect of a 4V Mille!
Mille's and Endura's are my most represented users.
( Although to be honest I'm in the camp not favoring red and black; I prefer uncoated blades)

Strange that folks don’t like the red/black considering they seem to be Spyderco’s official colors or at least the colors they use the most.

I don’t like coated blades much but I’ll buy pretty much any Military.

I do not like Red scales at all, and I'm not a fan of coated blades either. However, I'll still buy one because it's a 4V Millie.
