YMMV but it feels pretty different compared to the G10 version for me. That half ounce of weight difference is very noticeable in my hand, as are the more contoured scales. Plus the G10 version never had teeth :)
Resilience Lightweight - First Impressions

Re: Resilience Lightweight - First Impressions
No, I was talking about the S35VN Tenacious. This one does, differently than announced, also not come in full SE cause "they can't do it".
Weird, cause:
a)They generally CAN grind teeth in S35VN (they do this in the comboedge S35VN Tenacious)
b) They have a grinding wheel large enough for full SE in a Tenacious blade, cause there IS a full SE 8CR Tenacious...
... so why not possible in S35VN?
Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

Re: Resilience Lightweight - First Impressions
Been carrying my CE Resilience a lot since I got it.
It's been my dedicated work knife in place of my usual - a Pacific Salt.
So far nothing but good things to report.
The CE is useful, and I'm not sure why they're looked down upon.
No corrosion yet on the coated 8Cr, and tonights shift alone would have spotted uncoated 8Cr. Even if it isn't DLC like US Spydies, it seems to help corrosion resistance like I hoped it would.
Edge holding has been good. I haven't needed to sharpen it since I put my own edge on it the day it arrived. I am extremely happy with the edge this knife took. Very, very sharp, and very easy to achieve that high level of sharpness.
Not sure if there has been a change in HT or if its my sharpening technique, but this 8Cr seems less prone to forming big burrs compared to my Cara Cara 1's I used to carry.
For my line of work, the ability to take a very sharp edge without much fuss, and the ability to be exposed to corrosive fluids and not rust, matter much more than edge holding. 8Cr has been perfectly fine for my work role.
The only bad thing I have to say about it, is Spyderco - please make the smooth clip contact on the scales longer on your larger models. With the Resilience and Police in FRN, they both get hung up on my pocket every time I draw them with the clip positioned for tip up carry.
