That is a true beauty!!! I don’t know if it’s for me but wow! Does anyone have a copper handled knife that would like to show us how they wear?

I have a Kershaw Natrix in D2 and copper, but unfortunately I've never sorted out how to post photos to this forum.

Normally, I'm not interested in PM2 variants but I've wanted a solid copper knife from Spyderco for so long, that I don't care what it is. I will literally buy any copper knife Spyderco produces! :D

@BladeHQ - Lil Native in this combo next please!

That 7.47oz though!
Compared to the weight of the amount of pennies you would need to buy it: 1826 oz!

I put flytanium brass scales on a Manix2 and flytanium copper scales on a Para2 and they were bricks. I didn’t like them as much as I thought I would. This will be very popular but I am out.

Still waiting for a titanium Para2 with an integral compression lock. That I will definitely buy.

You’re not alone. I have been there and done that with flytanium scales. Basically a smooth pocket brick that makes your hands stink. I never got any patina because I could never use it for more than a day.

What does interest me though is the liner delete. If they can do this, and also turn the para3 into linerless frn, why can’t it be done with carbon fiber in a pm2? Now that would get me drooling.

Stinky. Heavy. No interest in copper or brass scales.

The first thing I thought was you'd need suspenders on your cargo shorts if you carried that one, and/or carry two to even the load.;)

I've never handled a knife with copper scales, but I've handled pennies. It's a hard pass for me. I'll take nearly any other handle material over this.

Funny about the weight issue: while I complain all the time about little women's pockets, one advantage to smaller/tighter pockets, and tighter jeans, is that your pockets (and their contents) sit tight against your leg and don't flop around. That makes the weight of a knife much less of a concern for me. I've never had a copper or brass knife, but I'm definitely interested. My concern would be more about how slippery they are than how heavy they are.

Seems like titanium would have been the obvious choice over copper since people have been clamoring for a factory ti pm2 forever

Seems like copper is pretty popular right now, at least among the IG knife/edc crowd. I see pics all the time of copper flashlights, especially.

I don't get the copper love. I'm an electrician, I work with copper all the time. It's a stinky metal. It's heavy. It can be really nasty when it tarnishes. It's very soft. What is the allure of copper knives?

Brass is fine, I love my buck 110s. But copper just baffles me. It's only good for wiring and making me money... Lol. But to each their own. I'd rather have a liner less carbon fiber or G10 pm2... That would be cool!
