The original G10 Urban was my favorite Spydie to mod with wooden scales. The new FRN version is a bit trickier to outfit with "woodies" because of the molded scales - you have to fabricate a standoff and use a washer on the pivot.

Here are a couple of pics:

Here's another of TedP's scale magic: his custom Rosewood Pingo - a knife I'm incredibly excited and proud to own! :D

My Urban came in and I absolutely love it! First, I've never been attracted to small knives, so I was hesitant to get this. Second, I vowed never to have two of the same knives. However, this is the first knife that makes me want to have one in every color! Thanks for everyone's advice!

BTW, this would look beautiful with a black blade!

Congrats man!

I also try to minimize duplicates, but would jump on one of the brg/elmax exclusives if I found one at a reasonable price and I hope there is enough interest in the Urban that we see some future variants. Patiently waiting for a non-black ffg UKPK sprint/exclusive/whatever as well. :)

Are there any other colors, or is this the only one? That's a bummer if not.

The only other recent color is the British Blades forum exclusive that spydergirl88 posted earlier in the thread. (Brg= British Racing Green, and Elmax blade.)
