I'm not sure where this came from. Has anyone from Spyderco hinted at this?

The Fish Hunter and Caribbean are supposedly upcoming Spyderco knives we can look forward to.
An unnamed someone tried to scare me and hinted to me this is all only "hypothetical drawing board stuff" and Spyderco does not plan on actually manufacturing either of them but from what I read on here these are definitely upcoming knives that will be available, just given some more time.
