Another thing you can try is direct heat in the screw itself. If you have a soldering iron that will do it, or even hearing up the head of a screwdriver or coat hanger etc. Then just touch it to the head of the screw to warm it up.

I have a set of the Wiha Torx drivers and they are hard to beat.

Mine are just the regular full size grip red and black handled ones. Those t-handle ones look nice too.
