awesome picture Madness. I love seeing kids getting into the hobby. I remember my first knife when i was 6. A 99cent store blade. cheap as heck but i LOVED it. sadly i lost it at the beach a few months later :( hope your having a Merry Christmas.

All she needs is her parents ' love, and judging by her smile, she got it ! She have now everything to fight this f....g cancer, and the best knife for her coming wood shacks.

Thank you for sharing this, Madness. It is very neat to see young people get excited about knives--especially Spyderco knives. ;) I will certainly keep your daughter and family in my prayers as she continues her fight against cancer.

Thanks for the prayers. Her name is Samantha. She was originally diagnosed with cancer when she had just turned 1 years old. After treatment, it went into remission but recently reoccurred in October, almost exactly 10 years for the 1st occurrence. She has lots of support and great doctors, so we are hopeful.
