I jumped through all of the hoops last night (signed up for the e-mail list, installed the phone app, and set up an account at their website) but when it got to delivery the only option was UPS, and I decided it was not worth dealing with UPS (they are really bad around here) for a third Superleaf. Hahaha. I really do like those knives and will probably pick another up as a spare someday.

Superleaf gets my vote. It carries well for a thick 3.5" blade due to the wire clip & over-all thin profile.

Today's STP email dealflyer has 40% off Superleaf

Sierra Trading Post has included the Superleaf in their 40%-off email dealflyer today only (not the Persian). This gets it down to $82.77. And if you escalate your purchase to $100, you get a $15 "eDeals Card." Not sure if they're still doing the free shipping if bought via their phone app (and using the deal code in the fine print at the bottom of the dealflyer).

The fates really know how to hurt a guy. They did this the day after I went on a spree and blew out my budget ordering three knives in one day :o Don't know what came over me -- never did that before. Otherwise I wouldn't have resisted this. I still don't have anything in VG-10, and I would have liked to try out the compression lock on a Japanese knife.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

I can't find them listed on their site otherwise. Maybe they have a limited amount for their sale promotion.

The Superleaf has a lot of cool features (Everything the Para2 has but the pivot bushing system) but it wasn't very "refined" in my opinion. The point of the handle, at the blade end of the handle, was a pocket killer so I couldn't wear it with nice pants.

I am going to be trying a Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL as soon as I free up some knife funds. The only thing I'm not sure about is the lock, but plenty of people have used the Heck out of theirs without trouble. The Manix series look very efficient, as far as blade to handle ratio, and they have the pivot bushing system that I love.

The Superleaf is a great blade. I had one and sold it only because I wasn't giving it the cut time it deserved.
