How does that work?
By the way, thanks, Jack for selling me on this light. I got one and really like it.
- best wishes, Jazz.

Reverse the clip so it's attached to the head and turn it so it is barely off. If you press on the end of the clip it will pull the head in just enough to turn the light on. It's easy to hold down and cycle through the modes.

Works great as a suspension clip too.

I ordered a brand new Pelican pocket flashlight and the bulb blew out after a few uses. That was disappointing.

That sucks! Just a bulb issue or something more?

With the plethora of high cri LED flashlights out there there is no reason these days to go with a hotwire one besides nostalgia or to light things on fire. There hasn't been a reason for a 3mm/5mm Multi-die LED one for well over a decade besides cost savings and space constraints.

High current, quality LED's may not be the future but they sure are the present. Most the flashlights come from China and a number of them are amazing in quality. If anyone wants to "Buy American" and don't want to spend a small retirement on a Surefire they should check out Peak LED for their EDC needs. You can get some of the finest flashlights in the world for $50-75 with a lifetime warranty. The perfect pairing (IMHO) to a Spyderco.

My next light after this MJP Extreme III will be a Peak Eiger. Tons of options available but hardly any explanation or comparisons out there.

I do love the Extreme for all it's modes though :)

Feel free to ask or shoot me a PM. I've used and gifted a number of them :) . Got the specs memorized if it helps; ordering a Peak isn't the easiest. Lol.

Well I've had the Microstream for a few days now and have used it a ridiculous amount. I use it at work for checking underground ductwork for breakdowns, spot checking joint splices on cable and a myriad of other things at home. I must say I'm very impressed. I'm no flashlight guru by any means, and I'm not saying this light is the best one out there, because I'm sure it's not. But I will say this, for the price, and my needs, having never edc'd a light, this thing is fantastic! Sufficiently bright and has a nice tight beam pattern. I would highly recommend this light if asked!

Blerv, any idea where I can find a Brass Eiger Ultra X Cool with mom switch? http://www.em-mgt.com is out of the brass cool led and momentary switches and Overready doesn't have brass. Thanks.
