Don't you guys feel that we need one more with XHP, than one more with 204P, and another one with B75P and CPM M4 for Ken. Smooth scales on some of them would be nice. I even do not dream about bone or wood, just smooth G10 will be nice.

I am with you all the way on that and I would love to see one in polished Micarta or G10, Ivory looking like on the Phoenix maybe?

What about antique ivory micarta? :p :p I saw some barkies with these scales. They look fantastic. Unfortunately Sal doesn't like micarta anymore. Fortunately I found Cascadi and Luke.

Or maroon? As Roman says, Sal isn't a fan of Micarta. The shrinkage issue wasn't a problem on the Phoenix as they didn't have to line up with anything, unlike a full slab scale. But a smooth G10 would be fine.

I would like to see that Roman, I am not familiar with Cascadia, do they make scales?

Ken
I do love the look of Micarta but I could see that would be a bit of an issue for production knives, I assume it's not nearly as hard as G10 either?
The polished G10 would be just fine, the scales on the Vallotton are stunning, I thought they were Micarta when the knife first came out.
Just noticed my Native 5's blade sits to the side a bit when closed too. Regardless a great knife and one of my favorites!

.
Cuscadi has custom scale division. Their their website and facebook page are better than candy store. http://www.cuscadi.de/
Luke made desert ironwood scales for my Native5. If you interesting, click on my sig to see it. The company located in Germany. Transit takes time, but they work fast and communication is great.

Just Looked, that's impressive! I am going to spend some time on that site tonight. Was it expensive?

I'd love to know how to adjust it. It seems straight when it's extended, just not folded. Any idea how to fix it?
somebody advised me to loosen all screw, so you can adjust the blade. Than start tightening screws, just half a turn each, repeat until it tight. This improved my knife condition, but didn't make it perfect, but I am not patient person.

You know that expensive is relative term. Price depends on the material and model (full liners vs nested, size). I paid 100 euros for mine, including shipping. Considering high grade of Iron wood, quality of the job and communication, I think it is not bad. I am happy with my scales, so money are well spent.

It's a great little knife. It's surprisingly comfortable in my XL hand. It's more comfortable than my bigger knives in my pocket when my butt is parked behind a desk most of the day. It doesn't generate funny looks or big knife comments in public. It opens and closes one-handed very well. It's kinda short for slicing a big red onion, though.

That's not bad ... I mean iron wood is not easy to work with and I presume they do a pretty precise job? With shipping I think that's good value.

Exactly. For reference, I can easily palm a basketball, and the Native 5 fits like it was built for me.

True, but I typically do that kind of thing in the kitchen where I have kitchen knives Sure, there are times when you're out on the road and you use what you have. It'll handle it. But it wouldn't be my first choice.
