Most recently Cutlery Shoppe, but most of my modest Spyderco collection has come from Blade HQ. Their prices have always been reasonable and their service is first rate.
I really wish that my local brick and mortar knife shop could afford to sell their knives at a price somewhere even close to the online retailers. I would be will to pay a little extra for the convenience since the mall is only a couple of miles from my house and it contains a cutlery store that I frequent on a regular basis. Unfortunately their prices on Spyderco knives is always MSRP.

Since I discovered Warriors and Wonders I haven't looked back. There's a knife store in Calgary, and I can play with his selection if I go there, but when I order from him it sometimes takes MONTHS!! W & W takes 2 days, and has everything. I feel bad about not buying locally, but....
It's really too bad big outfits don't sell Spyderco more. If people actually tried them, they'd see what a real knife is. I know I once thought they were funny looking. Now, other knives are funny looking. It's what you're used to as the norm, I guess.
- best wishes, Jazz.

I have found pretty good deals on Amazon and on Ebay. Amazon has whacky prices that come down for a couple of days and then go back up and if you are patient, you can find good deals from Poorfish or Supremesolutions on Ebay. I would love to support private knife sales but it seems that people want more for their used knives than it costs for a new one! Remember folks, they are pre-owned knives. You can't expect to get more money for them than Amazon or Ebay gets for new knives. I haven't been able to figure out why the prices of used, normal, everyday mass production knives is so high compared to the same knife that isn't pre-owned. It keeps me swimming in new knives.

Knives in my country don't garner much attention. There are knife collectors and I have seen a few national knife users over the years. The SAK has a much wider customer base here. At least one major retailer here sells cheap low quality folders at exorbitant prices, sometimes at near the price that Spydies sell for. Still, these do sell and I am really saddened by this. The one I bought nearly closed on my fingers due to the liner lock failing.
I have one US based online seller and two others whom I purchase from if the main shop does not have the stuff.
Being in Asia, it takes a very long time to reach here. So far USPS is the preferred method for shipping. I really rely on these online shops to inspect the knife for flaws before they ship, a customer service that only a few gentleman provide. I am grateful to the forum member who gave me this advice after joining this forum. Price is another factor. A dollar equals about 130 in my currency. Then there's taxes. Since these are for personal use and I have no way to flip em (as knives generally cannot be posted out of my country), I also rely a lot on the Information I gather from fellow members, the Spyderco Online Catalog and from online vendors. Two names pop in to my mind, two gents who have been extremely nice and helpful.
A big thank you to the WWW.

I order mostly online (GPKnives cuz they had a G10 Jester still in stock and advertised it, something that knifecenter failed to do, and Howes) but frequent a brick-and-mortar shop that's at our local mall because the people there are superb and great fun to talk with and are quite knowledgeable about their product as well. It costs a bit more than online but it is worth it to get to play with and compare the knives beforehand. And getting the clerks opinions on the knives as well definitely is an attraction too.
