A SS Balance, the CF version was getting lonely.

I did show Santa many times what a Ti UKPK looks like and how much I'd want one of those before they're all sold out. Can't tell for sure if Santa was paying attention, I'll have to wait another week. :D

The SuperLeaf is a great knife. IMO, it is one of the Spyderco community's most overlooked models - can't figure out why. I actually like it better than the Manix - just fits my hand better and the compression lock and ergos just suit me.

I think you will be very happy with your choice. Merry Christmas!

p.s. Oh … I got myself a couple traditional slippies for Christmas.

I'd like to get myself a Street Beat for Christmas, but the budget won't permit. Took a significant hit this week to the emergency fund... :(

Preordered a couple Dodo's. It's going to be a sad Christmas and a randomly ecstatic day in 2012 I hope.

I've tried to keep the expenses down with retirement looming, but couldn't resist the Native 4 that Amazon had for $50 including shipping. It was supposed to have arrived yesterday but what with the holiday volume and the superb service  they have become famous for, the USPS hasn't delivered it yet.

For 2012, I plain on learning a little more about customizing. I've already done some blade polishing and now want to try my hand as working with G10 to make some custom scales. The material is relatively inexpensive, doesn't require a shop full of tools and will keep my hands busy during retirement.
