XHP, wire clip, stone wash...

This will likely be my favorite Spyderco knife. I'm guessing a 2012 release?

Hah, 4 month old thread.

I wonder what the OP thinks is a better steel than XHP!

I love that movie. Don't get stingy with your ammo if this lady had double tapped she wouldn't be a human happy meal right now.

There are a lot of Spydercos that I want but this is a must have, right away, first in line type of thing. I love seeing any thread about it and when I do, I immediately must revert back to any photos of it. How long must we wait and these darn teases have to stop.

It's planned for a 2012 release. It took quite a while to get the steel. Carpenter was still ramping up production on the XHP.

Thanks Sal. 2012 is a pretty big window, but that answers my question which was going to be, "Should I buy a sage 2 to hold me over till this one comes out?" I'm really wanting to try out titanium handles, so it sounds like sage 2 for now, techno later. Another win-win for me and Spyderco.

So what you are basically saying is with leap year in 2012, at the very latest we can expect it to be here in 408 days (hopefully sooner). :D Great I can't wait, so pumped.
