Thanks for sharing the video. The production is fantastic.
The cutters really showed some stellar performances. This sport is a blast to watch.
Congrats to all who make BladeSports what it is, and big props to Donavon for wrapping up a great season!

Thanks for that great video Jose.
I like Donavon`s technique for the 2x4 chop, specially the "pick up" or blade lift part of the motion.
In the light course Ted really breezed through it, the horizontal foam cylinder seemed to give trouble to many, but more so on the regular course.
Bladesports keeps getting better and better, and all contestants are improving their techniques.
Congrats to Donavon for the championship
I may be wrong with this advice but maybe the courses should position the task stations in a way contestants move trough more fluidly, like by just turning or a more curved plan so the cutting hand ends in an easier position, instead of having to walk, position, cut/chop/slice, then repeat again, it would make beating the clock even more important and fun. This of course keeping safety as number one concern (no point in running dangerously through the course)
edit: would it be ok to lubricate the sides and edge shoulders of the blade?, it seems it would really help to reduce friction for the light cutting tasks.
