Just wanted to say that I'm sorry for my earlier words. I've been known in the past to be a little bit blunt and that crept out again. I find that hapens when I don't get much sleep.

Anyway, while I may not like the blade shape, I do think that the custom work does look good. It really made a Byrd knife look better.

I don't care for the knife, either.

My idea of exotic is the Persian.

That $27 Byrd looks like a $300 semi-custom :) .

Different strokes for different folks. I think it would work great for daily tasks or defense. I bet its much lighter and the wave looks very effective.

Good for you for getting out the grinder and being different. A spark of creativity.

Very nice work Spyder! Love that blade shape. You turned a byrd into a work of art. Is that cut out in the Spyder hole used to catch you'r opponents blade in durring combat? :D Just kiddin, the wave looks great. Take care and thanks for sharing.
