I have one of the micarta-Wayne Goddards, and I think it has to be one of the best looking blade designs Spyderco has ever produced! Got to admit most of those big holes make it hard to streamline a blade...so even though Goddards are fairly large,it is very flat and a good looking blade as well as very serviceable!

treb, I agree with you. At another forum I posted that it will be unfortunate that there will be a number of Spyderco fans both longtime and new who will not have the experience of handling the "original" Peter Herbst. Both you and I know how smooth that knife cycles--I guess we're among the lucky few.

Thanks to a tip from Sharp1... I just got a "Q" H&K for 55.00 from this site (see below) Since you're "into" guns this might be desirable to you.
Also got an "R" from johnfjensen for 96.00 both great knives!
