The clip placement looks horrible, looks like too much knife will be out of the pocket. Maybe it's just me

In fairness, the original CF version and the Almite Sprint Run one from a few years back weren't exactly set up for discreet carry either. That said, they might have been better off omitting the lanyard hole, as was done on the original, and using a wire clip.

I would love a ZDP-189 blade with a liner-lock, but also want a maximum deep clip placement for being discreet in the office environment I inhabit. The clip placement and aggressive blade shape of the 22 makes it a beast for a different world.

Boy, we sure are a fussy bunch, eh?

I would have much preferred to lose the lanyard hole and have a wire clip. We don't have enough wire clips anyway :P

I agree too with the wire clip. Just took the Para out of my pocket and slide the UKPK Drop Point in and it disappears as I know the Walker CF would too.

"they might have been better off omitting the lanyard hole, as was done on the original, and using a wire clip."

+ one million..........

On the plus side, the new one is at least tip up.
Mine will be here on the 19th.

Why the large butt on top of the clip is anyone's guess.
Best guess is they had the clip from the Lum on hand?

Have 1/2 a mind to leave my job of 26 yrs and go to work for Spyderco for minimum wage just to help out..............

I seem to have the ability to spot the minor malfunctions of the new models.

Yes, its a curse. Wish it would just go away...........

Small knife non deep carry? Don't get it........

Still happy mine will be here Fri..........

Super steel and CF do not go un-noticed..............
Or un purchased........ :)
:spyder:  :spyder:  :spyder:  :spyder:
More S90v & CF please.......

I couldn't resist when I figured out how small this knife is, based on the blade being 2.5". I'll deal with the high clip, despite my preferences, maybe even take it off. Pre-order to kc today - need a smilie of $$$ burning...
