Wondering if the other side of the blade also has the spiderweb design or is it plain?

Thanks.

I hope nobody posts this announcement in the other forums. Please do not make it any harder to get than it probably already will be.

Thanks.

FWIW, the best selling Spyderco Forum knife to date sold less that 200 pieces and has not significantly increased in value since it was issued. In fact, the last couple I've seen on eBay sold for less than what they went for new. The only ones which have significantly increased in value are the ones which sold very few units when issued, either due to low interest, or "issues" with the run.

Not to mention that, far as I can tell, Spyderco has not committed to making ONLY 300 of these. There's at least an outside chance that if "investment purchasers" buy them by the dozen and dry up the supply, another batch might be forthcoming.

I doubt that many knife scalpers bother to pay taxes on their 'investment purchases' as income, I think it would be just deserts for those to purchase many, and prevent others from being to purchase even one, to get stuck with a stock pile that they can not resell with a significant price increase.

Gotta ask the question again. Do you guys use your Forum knives or keep them for collecting only?

My USN Endura knife has seen EDC rotation. There are only a few of my knives, usually older hard to find models, that become safe queens.

And boy is it an attention getter!!!

So far, I have not used any of mine, but the Native will change that. FFG + FRN + S30V just screams USE ME!!! :o :D Am thinking the next time we see that combo on a Native it will no longer have the elegant simplicity of a monocoque FRN handle, so I figure I'll get one for display and one to use.

This will be my first forum knife and my first Native. I was about to pull the trigger on a Native 3 but see as this has a FFG, I changed my mind.

YES, the only issue for me is I'm still unemployed. :(

I guess I'll have to really look at the checking account this weekend. Wish me luck on having enough $$$.

You can call in your order, just explain your situation to SFO and you'll still receive the same discount. ;)

Thanks again Kristi for all that you do!
Since you are local, if it's an option for you, you can come in the store and same as above, you'll still receive the same discount.

The engraving is only on the front of the blade.

Thanks everyone for your interest and support. :D
