I'm thinking - I think I was a little light this year compared to other years. Just wasn't a lot that caught my eye this year for some reason. The CF Harpy and Sage, though, did put me in the direction of the classier folders and definitely influenced the purchase of my BM Kulgera. On the boards for next year is definitely the new Sage :)

Well, I keep looking atmy spydies and I am very happy that I was able to spend the money on them.


However, I am aware that lots of folks around here are not able to spend so much for their hobby.

Although it is far from true that I am a very wealthy guy.... I've tried to share my joy and experience with all of you throughout the year. ONE single Spydie can make a man happy; all the additional knives (I own) are more or less pointless if I couldn't share my joy with all of you. Spydie collecting without the Spyderco forum and all of its residents: just worthless.

I wish all my friends here a peaceful christmas and a happy (and spydie-rich) new year!

Yesterday I already posted my list. I thought this is it, let's save some cash for 2009, but year is not over yet.
Today we had our department lunch (10 people, including me, four of us carry :spyder :) . Also :spyder: Calendar by Mark is on the wall.
I am the oldest, most of them age wise could be my kids. :rolleyes: So we are eating, talking. At the end, our shipping manager brought me fairly large and heavy box, saying that somebody dropped it for me during the lunch, probably suppliers. Now I started to suspect something. I opened the box and on the bottom found familiar red and black little box with golden bug. Inside the box was gorgeous, beautiful, exquisite piece of cutlery: CF Native4, which fit into my hand like a glove. I was stunned, I almost died.
