Bowie Man, looking at the original post, what were some of the other favourite slide shows of Homicide Detectives? Any more "interesting" knife stories?
Over the years it's been brought to my attention (especially by my wife) that the general public doesn't really appreciate cop stories. It's always a little bit awkward, especially at a wedding reception when you start off a discussion by saying "Hey, I saw this really great suicide today"....and then follow it up with "When we got into that last punch-up there was a tooth stuck in my hatch gloves".

These are the reasons that cops stick with cops, and firemen stick with firemen. Nobody else understands what we go through each day.

The plus side of being a copper and a knife-nut, is that I actually see the results of everyone's theoretical discussions about knife fighting and injuries caused by knives....and some days that's not a good thing.

Homicide had lots of great photos and slides of sick sticky messes but I don't want to monopolize the forum with cop stories. However, If I come across any more cool knife stories I'll definitely post them.

Thanks for asking

Not EMT almost EMT qualified but I have friends and family who are a lifeline.

I have a cool circle of buds (PD,Corrections,FD,EMT). We don't see alot of each other but I think EMT deserve their due.
