OK I'm jealous...
Actually Cherie & Jeremy got me a matched collectors set..
This was like above and beyond the call of friendship or duty,..but thats them for sure!
I had sets over #200..
They made sure I had a low numbered set..
for my collection..
THANK YOU!!!Cherie & Jeremy....
Great people if you haven't met them yet..
Good thing you use your trainer Drone..
live blades BITE!
Off to do Gunting stuff!
Forget the Black Gunting... Get the trainer
Back to the DRONE thing...
I bought a DRONE first and had it for two months before I finally got the Gunting. It was a brilliant plan as it gave me time to familiarize myself with the Gunting - how it moved, how it opened, how to draw and manipulate it without losing a finger... When I finally got the Gunting it was like I had already had it forever and it just "fit".
I do, however, have a nasty little scar from a Gunting wound and I would now like to advocate something else:
DO NOT allow anyone to mess with your Gunting who does not understand its potential!
Of course, my Gunting arrived RAZOR sharp and smooth as silk... I was explaining to a colleague not that long ago all the wonders of the Gunting. He was holding the Gunting itself and I was holding the Drone. This was my mistake. I began to explain kinetic opening when he said the dreaded words: "like this?" and proceeded to drag it lightly across my abdomen. Needless to say - it worked. It popped open, cut through my shirt and also through my abs - 1.5 inches long and 0.5 inch deep - nothing a couple or three stitches won't fix. I was a little upset about my shirt though... My co-worker almost wet his pants he was so shocked. A hard lesson in the power of the blade for him and one in "Gunting ettiquette" for me.
Always be careful with your Gunting in the hands of neophytes...it is a powerful tool...
...and ALWAYS buy a DRONE!!!

Sirius,
ARE you in the USA @ the present?
if so call me..OK???
now you know WHY I ONLY carry a Drone..its to protect me from the other guy who wants to show me the great Gunting moves he knows..
I oNLY hand over a DRone to people..even @ knife shows or seminars..
OK..now you need to learn kinetic opening without touching the blade to yourself or the BG..
really it works..
It Kineticaly opens WITHOUT the blade EVER touching anyone...
The core group has learned that trick from me..Ms Jody plays live blade all the time..Bad Jody Bad!..ROFL..
I hope you are OK and you heal quickly..
