My first was a Worker in 1988. I used it as a prybar and snapped its sculptured tip. I got a couple replacements butt now I have a Commemorative model that I carry and will definitely not use for a lever.

My 1st :spyder: 14 years ago was a frn, integral clip SE Aus8 endura, which i carried for years.
Followed by a 1998 CE ,ATS55 Endura which i got when the first one was in to replace the broken frn clip.
When it was returned it had a new metal clip & was sharpened like a scalpel, with out even having to ask.
Now that's service!
I received a few over the years in between & as of a month or 2 ago have gotten bitten again by the Spyder bug.
One of my favorites however is the Gunting.
all the best from Nfld.,regards,Rick :spyder:

I ordered a Ladybug, and when it arrived by post, I was shocked at how small it was ! Next was an Endura, which had the opposite effect ! But I was suprised at how sharp the Ladybug was.

For me it was the SS Delica SE. Down, but not out (12 years of service, it needed a rest). Replaced at the moment with the SS Calypso Jr. PE. :spyder:

My first Spydies were the CoPilot and the Police, both serrated. Got them in '91 and still have them today.

My very first was a Ladybug (black, CE). It soon became known in the house as "the good knife" (and I let you figure it out why) ;) Still have it on my keychain. :)

My first :spyder: was a CE Delica in aus8 blade, molded clip.
But the addiction was started about 8 years later with the PE Endura with steel handle.

It was really my 3rd Spyder that set me on a rage. That was when I got a numbered ATS-34 version of the JD Smith. Shortly after that I got my first C-44P&S big Dyad. Those 2 got the ball rolling then the Hawkbills just simply sent me into a frenzy. You can't get cured from :spyder: obsession because you never want to be cured

While not a "true" Spyderco, the one that got me into the web was a Timberline Special Service. Got it for a birthday present and carried it for a couple of years till I got a SS rookie. All down hill from there.

Like so many others, for me it was the FRN Delica. Around 1994, I think. I used it for a few years, then got Rescue, then a FRN Pro Grip that I used primarily. Only in the past few months have I gotten more interested in obtaining more (and more...) knives.

All my knives (all 7 of them) are users, so I try to rotate them all for EDC.
