Happy Thanksgiving to all on the Spyderco Forum. I'm new to the forum and love Spyderco Knives. The knives I'll have on Turkey day are the SS Calypso Jr. PE for some turkey stabbing and the Spur CE for the smaller cuts. This is an awsome forum with very very knowledgabel forumites. I'm very glad I decided to join. Again, Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Turkey Carving From Martha Stewart

#26

Post by JD Spydo »

Well I know for a fact that Sister Martha would use a HAWKBILL to carve her turkey with  . I think Martha will use her Spyderhawk  to sever the drumsticks and wings which are normally tough to separate. We could call it "Martha Stewart HAWKBILL Living  "

Maybe her and Ms. Delica might make a great pair to show us the culinary accolades of this great design :D :spyder:

I'll be carving with a Spyderco K03 and an old German horn handled slicer. I think I'll carry my C54 large Calypso as backup.

Have a great day everyone.

Never can tell JD, Martha may be showing off the skills she learned in prison and using a neatly folded can lid. The "crinkle cut" serrations, produced by the hand operated can opener used to create it, may lack the finesse of the Spyderedge, but do impart a certain character to anything (or anybody) cut with them. ;) :D
