Ron,

Since this is going to be a normal production model and not a sprint run, we should have no problems getting our greedy hands on them..

Either way, I'm going to stock up. :)

I really don't think that we will have a hard time geeting one. I just think, as others do, that this is going to be a really great knife and I am letting my enthusiasm(sp?) get carried away. Sorry, I will try to contain myself.

:spyder: too poor, gotta get a cheaper hobbie! Once I get a poliwog I'm gonna start saving for a mini-manix. What a great looking knife! :) :spyder:

I want two of each size, in each edge config. They are so beefy, and if the MM is as beefy, proportionately speaking, it's gonna feel great!!

Does anyone else's Most Wanted List look something like this?

Manix (WAY Overdue- #1 on my hit list)
Mini Manix
Mini Persian
Kris
CF Military
CF Harpy
ZDP Delica
Ocelot
Tiger Coral Kopa
Kumo
New Delica/ Endura
Some radical, Forum-Generated Sprint model (I'm leaning twoards the ZDP Lum Chinese)

The hole's for the clip in the Manix 80' look like it will sit really low in the pocket for tip down carry.

i have a manix, but if i had a lil temp i also would not buy mini. mini manix is reminiscint of a heavy duty native, something which doesnt make sense to me (heavy tasks are more comfortable with bigger knife.) if i have a manix, i would probably never use the mini version in its place.
on the other hand, mini-manix is a great medium sized knife that i would buy if i didnt have manix and i wanted the toughest knife. just my 2cts--i do not have much money so i must be more frugal

I will definitely be getting one of these. For me this will be a relatively big knife, because I have fairly small hands. It's better for me to do a big job with a knife that fits my hands well, even if it's not the biggest of knives... if that makes any sense.

This is a very interesting thought.
Me too, is having problem identifying mini manix's position as an EDC.

I would really like a picture like this of a CE Manix and a Manix CE 80mm...
