Hey Sharp! Nah, the knives were made by Spyderco.. Not Benchmade.. The only roundhole Benchmade was the AFCK.. Classic folder too! The C15+C19s are classy knives! You've got to love them cos they really warm up to you..

Could it be the now infamous BRK Native you're talking about? I was thinking they were made by Camillus.

Spydies by Benchmade, say it ain't so!!!

That company lost all my respect when they plagiarized the hole on their "skirmish" or "squeamish" model or whatever it's called.

But aahhh Fighting Knives magazine ... sure brings back memories! Even though I only got two of 'em, it changed the way I looked at MBC and knife collecting.

bob terzoula was commissioned by spyderco ceo sal glesser to design what would be the first blade in spydercos "custom knife makers "design series.the final prototype was soon at this years oregon knife show, produced by benchmade knifes under contract to spyderco.what is unique about the terzuola clipit is that it becomes the first such knife from this company to be made in the united states.featuring a 3 1/4-inch blade ground from ats-34 steel, the knife also offers you a leaf spring lockw/ball-bearing detent(to guard against accidental opening while in your pocket),6061-t6 aluminium scales w/hard black anodizing,a reversible clothing clip for carry, and a one-hand opening.the knife can be completly disassembled for cleaning or travel concerns, and all knifes are numbered.fighting knives was pleased to recive one of the first of this series, which i quite frankly compared against a terzuola liner lock sent to me by bob nearly eight months ago .i´ve carried this particular folder ever since, due to its light construction, pragmatic blade design and sureness while in the hand. the spyderco commissioning owes its success to terzuola´s vast understanding of what makes a liner lock function,as well as benchmade knives superb capabillity to build this knife to spyderco´s high expectations. where i cannot compare eight months worth of work and carry to two months of the terzuola clipit, i can report the workmanship and functioning of the knife is excellent to date.this is a nice, light, as well as hardy product which-for 150$-gives the buyer a truly custom-made knife in every respect of the word.future models will have the spyder serration, and several more such folding projects are in the planing stage at spyderco´s headquarters. our vote?excellent pocket tool and nice gift item. ok this was the full article in fighting knifes, keep it sharp
