CF & S90v Manix2 XL and Yojimbo from KW
Two in the hand is better than one in the bush. I will not use both, one will be a user and the second will be saved, either as a backup if I fall in love with it, or it will be returned to the market later.

One for each hand :D . Had no problems ordering at 9:27 AM EST; in-and-out in under 3 min. Will pass on the S90V Yo2 though-I think its just butt-ugly. Also I have zero knife SD skills and probably end up cutting myself with it. I can use other tools for SD, but am generally laid-back and avoid the need for such skills.jalcon wrote:Everyone here that is buying two?...

I agree it is one of the less attractive of the Spydie lineup, but you should really try one in hand for daily chores. It will surprise you, I should know.Orangeneck wrote:One for each hand :D . Yep. Thats why I put my order in at 8:01.jalcon wrote:Originally I was thinking that they meant they had 100 preorders that they were taking today, but now that I read that again, maybe they aren't really saying how many preorders they are taking, just letting us know that 100 of those in fact will be available to ship on Wed.?

For me leaf shape is the most attractive of the line up, the military type of blade shape is second. Then I like the XL a lot better than Manix 2, I like bigger blades in general.xceptnl wrote:I agree it is one of the less attractive of the Spydie lineup, but you should really try one in hand for daily chores. So Manix 2 XL in S90V is in a sense a grail knife.

For me most logical would be to set the system to sell 100 pieces, and then it goes out of stock. They did not take preorders before, so I hope they don't start bumping people on wait lists now.jalcon wrote:Originally I was thinking that they meant they had 100 preorders that they were taking today, but now that I read that again, maybe they aren't really saying how many preorders they are taking, just letting us know that 100 of those in fact will be available to ship on Wed.?
If I have the cash at the time, I am definitely buying two Yo 2's. I don't plan to sell or trade the second, it'll be kept NIB for a future replacement. I already know judging by how much I use my current Yo 2, plus how much I like S90V, that it's going to see a butt load of use, and obviously won't be easy to find or cheap in the future.jalcon wrote:Everyone here that is buying two? Why? Are you going to use them both? Or is one to sell or what? No hate, just curious?
