Dropped it several times closing it one handed with wet hands. Like the blade, ergos, how light the LW version is, the overall appeal, but it is not my favorite lock.

Still use it as my dedicated left hander- being right handed and the M2 being my only 100% amidextrous folder.

Yup even without wet hands, although I haven't dropped it yet. One can tell with the heavy lock tension with one hand closing, it can turn into an uncontrolled situation. Basically for myself safety first, its mostly a two hand operation. Jimping at the heel of the handle back would help.

I have several M2s and I do like the lock. But if it wasn't for the clip providing something for my fingers to grip I'd have trouble closing it. In fact, I struggle to close them with my left hand because I can't use the clip. I can do it but it's not nearly as easy as for me as when I'm using my right hand.
Different hands, different techniques...

I did a day of pruning and other yard/landscape work yesterday and the blurple S110V M2 was my chosen blade, one of the reasons was that I can easily release the CBBL, with or without gloves on and let the blade fall closed while holding brush or a second tool in my off hand
I have no problem closing the knife with my right hand it's just not quite as ambidextrous as I'd like. I was messing around with a couple M2s last night and I can actually close them pretty well with my left too. I don't do it much so I probably just need to practice.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!

So many of you have had this one for a while now. Checking in to see how it is going. With camping and hiking season here this one should be a great one around the campsite and trail.

I finally got around to ordering one and hope to have it this weekend. This has been a want for a while now so it is nice that it is finally on it way.

It's awesome. It's been my summer break carry. I've really put it to use, lots and lots of cardboard to break down as we clean out the garage. I've only used the gray stones to keep it sharp. Zero edge chips or rolls so far.

Roger, thanks for sharing. Sounds like you are putting yours though it's paces. I carried my LW S110V Manix today in eager anticipation of the CS S90V Manix.

Thanks for the info. I hope both of you will let us know how you think this particular S90V knife cuts and sharpens compared to S110V. I can't seem to shake the notion that I like S90V better but haven't really used them enough to get a good comparison. So far with the knives I have, the S90V just seems to hold it's edge well is very easy to retouch to shaving sharp.

I'm really just looking for more reasons to get me over the hurdle of buying a bright orange lightweight :p I've been hoping for a CF or G-10 S90V Manix that's not so high priced as what's been available or upcoming so far, but may settle for this CS exclusive if I can make up my mind before they're all gone.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Mines been on my person or in a backpack for every hiking and camping trip since I got it. The orange is arguably brighter than any of my FRN Seki knives... I think your gonna like it. From a camping trip this weekend:

Fantastic pic Abba!!! Looks like a perfect spot!!
Ordered one of these bad boys this morning and was thinking that's a great price for s90v!! Compared to the Maxamet version......much less expensive!
This will be my 7th Manix. This knife fits my hand more perfectly than any other knife I have. It makes an AMAZING work knife.....the LW or the G10 version.
Just love this design.
The only other knives I have bought doubles, or more of, are the PM2 & the BM 940.
This will be my first knife with s90v and I'm so curious to compare it to s110v!

This knife is arguably the best looking knife for color and blade shape of any knife made. Photos don't do it justice for how excellent looking it is. Those are GREAT photos, not to detract from them at all, but this knife is just more in person than any photo can capture.

Just got mine yesterday. The orange colored handle is just stunning. Hard to describe but it is a bright orange. Nice steel too.

Wow, thanks guys! The feedback means a lot. My Samsung S7 can't quite pull off what my LG G4 could, but its still good enough that I stopped schlepping my old Sony Nex around. That pic was from a hike on the Bucklin trail up the back side of Killington in VT on Sunday, as was this pic. It was a mud fest after the rain the day before. A bright orange knife in the woods makes me happy. It admittedly didn't get as much use as my fixed blade (Fallkniven F1) or Spydiechef on the trip, but it sure cut paracord easily :)

Abba, your pictures just rock! Looks like you had an awesome hike. Such a lovely area you live in, you are very fortunate.

Mine is still in transit, but on its way from Idaho. Should be here in a day or two. Can't wait to give this one a try!

Another excellent pic Abba!! That is a beautiful spot you were in!
Sons and I are off to PA tomorrow to go on a hike to a great swimming hole with our German Shepherd & Malamute. These 2 nut jobs would rather swim than walk!!
My s90v Manix won't be delivered on time to take with us, but I'm pretty sure I will have a knife to take with me!!
Can't wait!!
