All mule orders to US and Canada will be shipped by Friday.

Our web site says that the Natural Micarta Option 4 is out of stock. All handles have been pulled out for all current orders. If you ordered Natural Micarta Option 4 you will get it.
I have 3 sets left if you email me directly to confirm stock.

Thanks again for your great support. We have had a few mix-ups but I'm pleased so far.

The carbon scales are .125 and most of the G10 is .140". The shorter screws (4-40 x .187" long) work for the different thicknesses, Option 4 Mules, Option 5 Mules and the Swick. At one point I believe we used longer screws for the Option 4 but that was another possible nightmare.

Somehow you must have gotten some longer screws.
They headed out USPS flat rate today, so you should have on Saturday.

Thanks! And my name is Dale, not Bill. Sorry for the confusion, I just quoted the first post of yours I could find. I'll be sure to report back once the new screws come in. I was able to grind down a few screws with a dremel, but I also lost a few, they're hard to hold on to haha.

I was just cruising through some earlier posts. I'm sorry you got the wrong model.
We have a new web site with lots of choices. I'd be glad to send you the color or option you had requested.
Please send me a direct email from our website with your name and shipping address.
I didn't spend too much time on the forum last summer and I wasn't aware of this error.
We want everyone to be happy with our products.

I've been looking at old posts. Lots of options including our orange, blue and carbon. You can now order and pay on line-much smoother now. Marianne Halpern

We decided to really take care of the mule fans. Our website shows choices and availability. You can select and order right on line.
My right hand man is oiling them all as we ship so they are ready to screw on and look great.

Hi, just checking in again as I promised. Just got the extra screws from HT a day early! And I was expecting only 3 screws, but instead they sent me 6!

Very good service!
Now that I am able to attach the scales easily I figured I would share some pictures of my mules all dressed up.

Image

K390 dressed up in the Foliage green Option 5's, and the new S110V with the Battleship Gray Option 5's on the right.

Closeups for a better view of the texture

And here is just a comparison picture between the Gray and Orange colors.

And lastly, a texture shot of the Swick handles.

Once again, thanks Marianne and all of the employees at Halpern Titanium for these great handles, they are great for the steel junkies like myself who are terrible at making handles but still want to experience all Spyderco has to offer :p

Glad it was such an easy fix. I'd like to use a photo or 2 for our web site. Once I decide on 4 or 5 we are giving away a swick or mule of your choice.

Horrible picture in which I plan to shoot with a big camera and lights when time allows but thought I would share this and say thanks to Marianne and the clan once again.

Love carrying this guy upfront. Small, light weight, easy to conceal, and fast deployment if needed. I have wore this now for 2 days since I have built it and forget its even on my possession positioned just like this up front.

Cheers,
DT

Got my rosewood dymondwood scales today. It was easy to install, but the fit is poor. It appears both scales are just too small, especially at the end. The right scale actually a little smaller than the left. The gaps actually looks like those in post #179 above. I guess I'll make my own scales in the future and fit them myself.

Marianne, the micarta option 5, I'm guessing that's canvas micarta, right?
