I've searched for a Brouwer at a discounted price since it has been discontinued. All 10+ dealers I've looked at are still selling it for $189.00 which is the MAP price (30% off MSRP of $270.00)! They're probably low on stock. Some display the fact that it has been discontinued.

None of the knives are being discounted despite the price control being lifted, but I only wanted a Serrata anyway. I guess this is another case of retailers being scumbags. They ruined the knife industry with their greed. Glad I don't pay attention anymore. Amazon and Ebay should have been allowed to eradicate them all.

they're not allowed to change the price until january. if you want something, you'll just have to look then. and they don't have to reduce the prices. it just depends on if they think the stock will move or not.

i was kind of hoping the brouwer would drop more. i've been watching it on all the sites. kc is only the second i've seen the price drop on.

Not much of a discount (32%-39% off MSRP excluding Z-Cuts) but it's probably due to low stock.

i'm gonna hold out and see if they go lower. i definitely don't need the brouwer, but the esee zancudo is one of my favorite budget folders and the brouwer reminds me of a much nicer spyderco version. it would be cool to grab one, but i don't need it for $170.
