large voyager arriving today or tomorrow, backup 3V SRK early next week.

Since the 3V SRK's in Olive Green were listed as a one time run on midway usa I wasn't totally confident about reprofiling mine on my belt sander. Once I get my second I'm going for it. Great knife but the edge is thicker than I want for something that'll see some wood carving use.

are there restrictive blade length laws where you live or do you simply prefer more compact folders? I notice most your folders are smaller versions and was curious.

I wish Spyderco did a sprint run in the same colors - OD green with black blades and hardware. Which models? All of them :rofl

Something I have desired for a few years but could never find until the other day: full size Demko AD20 in 3v and clip point. Not the slim, thin blade, but the thicc boi. I tried the 20.5 but it just felt too small for me (small for a Demko)
Should arrive on Friday.

Been looking at the Spartan Blades Harsey folders, but didn't see one that really sang to me until now. I blame the Nuns in grammar school.
It's on a truck from the east coast so it'll probably take a week and a half to get here.

Harsey folders have always looked really nice to me. I'd have tried one for now if it were a different lock. It looks like a very upscale cold steel recon 1 in a lot of ways, which is among my favorite folders, so I'd expect the Harsey to fit me very well.

what's the show side scale look like?

these are weird knives. very slim but very tall handle,so it fills the palm pretty well for how great it carries, but it feels a little strange when put to hard use.

Very nice knife though. Compares well against the native chief in a lot of ways.

Not as nice as the Apocalypse Angel lock side, but a well endowed Angel of Death. MagnaCut blade was the icing on the cake.

I bought a few Spartan Blades knives.

I'll take a picture of my most recent one and upload it in a sec.

That's a nice one too. I wish they would use the black hardware on the black out version. Maybe next year.

Mine came in sooner than I expected. I thought this would be a much larger knife, but it's remarkably civilized. My Police 4 dwarfs it. It even fits in the front pocket of my 501 jeans with room for my hand fishing out my keys. FWIW this 2025 version does not seem to have the sharp edges and gimping reported on earlier models. They did miss the very tip of the lock bar though, it's very pointy at the corners. Was thumb flicking the blade after a minute or two. Doesn't drop shut, but that works for me. Came sharp enough to cut paper, but just barely. I'd just as soon sharpen it myself. Bought it for the Angels, but you could easily EDC these knives.
IMHO the build quality is a little better than the Hinderers, not as good as a Koenig Arias.

Thank you!

They are really nice, I agree!

I am trying to cut back on buying knives but really liked it. Selling almost everything again but I am keeping a few. This one is a keeper(but not a user because it is too nice and not exctly a self defense knife) along with my Spyderco Native Chiefs which are all users. I am keeping my Hinderers XM-24s too. They are pretty good users, very heavy duty.

If they are folders and have a 4 inch or longer blade, and they thrust and cut, I'll keep them, otherwise out they go unless they are Spyderco Maxamet, 15V, S110V(keeping those too). I want something that I can defend myself with in a pinch.
