OMG GRAIL STATUS!

I've always loved the simplicity and elegance of the RIL, but the only problem is it's on the wrong side of the knife. This would fix that "problem"! :D

I guess the integral compression lock could be short handed as the "ICL." It certainly isn't anything Reeve designed. Or call it the "GIL" for Glesser Integral Lock.

I am somewhat torn because I love the Japanese quality, but was hoping for Golden made to open up the steel options. I guess a Superblue ATR wouldn't be a terrible waste  :D

What about getting one of the Japanese makers to use a Japanese super steel other than ZPD-189 or Super Blue? ... or solid Super Blue :p

I love my Karahawk, but I have to admit I like the changes Sal talks about below. Hopefully he keeps the knife as thin as it is. It's great how it disappears in my pocket.
Sal Glesser wrote:We work with a disributor that's a bit of a Kerambit junky and a knife afi. The changes we'll experiment with first is add a G-10 ring (90%) between the rings, slightly proud and smooth (ring is too sharp for "right feel") and the 2nd will be to add an inner ring and extend the scale to cover the ring. We'll test both and make a change by the next run.

A quote from Sal in a thread on BF when asked if there was anything in the works in h1 "salt" knives...not sure if this is "bombshell" material, but interesting nonetheless. :)

We have a few concepts we're considering. The larger, tougher, pointier folder, probably in G-10, The ARK is in motion. I'd like to consider another fixed blade like the models made earlier, but am still in doubt over the sales due to price.

USN Ladybug Hawkbill

Original request posted 01/28/12:
So here is the keychain knife of my dreams!

Only here on USN is there a chance of making my dream into reality. Let me hear some support for a Toxic Green LadyBug with a black coated serrated H1 Hawkbill blade. It would be the perfect younger sibling for big brother Endura and Catcherman that have already become reality.
We kept this thread going and finally got a response!
I'll bring it up with Kelly (Sales Manager) & Eric.
