I want to see a Sage 2 reboot also!!! The Sage 2 is my favorite knife. I have carried one since 2009.

That would be so awesome if they had another run. They would sell out fast I think.

Although I do not have a Sage 2, my vote would be for a new lock. Right now the market is completely inundated with foreign titanium frame locks, which is not a dig on Spyderco, but more to say that Spyderco is an innovator in the community. New knives with new locks keeps things interesting. Also, it seems that liner locks and frame locks are some of the weakest locks made - just take a look at that 'Have you ever had a lock fail on you' thread and nearly ever submission is a liner or frame lock. Most liner/frame locks are a hard pass from me for that reason. They are also non-ambi.

My vote would be a Shark Lock, but if there are barriers to that due to a lack of licensing from Demko, then could the Snecx SuperLock be a viable alternative? Lot's of others to pursue as well, Triad Lock, Wedge Lock, Power Lock, Stop Lock, etc...

I love the compression lock, one of the best I have used. I was skeptical the Sage 6 could improve on the comp. lock but I must say it is more user friendly. The second detent ball for me is also an improvement because it dampens any rebound when closing with the button pressed.
What I would love to see on the Sage 6 is maybe a more traditional scale material, burlap micarta for example. I am getting a bit tired of the fact that every S90V model has to come with PP CF. That’s why I think the KnifeCenter Kapara is such a great knife.

Agree! This Sage was my most carried knife at one point. It is hard to believe judging by those pristine looking scales, because somehow it never developed any snail trails?? This is an early Sage 2, and I don't know how they made it so hard wearing. I noticed the later runs had a slightly different texture, and I assume they were more susceptible to scratches.
